Hi, my name is Tami Nicholson. After having my daughter, Kendall in August 2005, my husband and I decided that it would be best for me to quit my job in Human Resources and become a stay at home mom. It has been a great experience and I’ve enjoyed being able to watch my daughter hit all those first milestones.

Earlier this year, my husband had the opportunity to take a position in Arizona. (Both he and I are from AZ) So, we left Las Vegas and are now living in Flagstaff AZ. I actually was born, raised and went to college in Flagstaff. After getting my bachelors degree in Marketing/Advertising, I moved to Tucson where I lived for a few years – then moved to Dallas, TX to further my career. During my 6 years in Dallas, I earned my Masters degree in Organizational Management and I also met my future husband. We then moved to Vegas, got married and started a family!

I learned about signing with babies at one of the playgroups that I was a part of in Las Vegas and ended up buying the Baby Signs® book. I also learned that Sign, Say and Play™ classes would be coming soon to the local Gymboree and I was excited to take Kendall when she turned 6 months. But then we moved and I wasn’t able to find anywhere in Flagstaff that offered these courses. I decided the best thing to do was to become an instructor so that I could share the Baby Signs® Programs with the community that I grew up in.
